A game that has really impressed me lately is kill zone 2. it was created by CE Sony Guerrilla Game, and played on PS3 not Xbox 360, as it didnt have the capability to hold it. The whole game looks like a post apocalyptic earth but it actually takes place on the alien world of Helghan, the Lead Tech Artist at Guerrilla Games, Paulus Bannink, said that all of the animation was done in Maya 8.5, with only some of the motion capture being cleaned up a little in MotionBuilder which is out of the ordinary considering that most 3D games have been developed using Autodesk’s 3ds Max. I think that if i want to go down the route of games design in need to put alot more effort in to, not only focusing on maya but branching out to other programs as soon as possible. at the moment i am really engoying using maya in our current animation progect.

i have a have a link to the GUERRILLA web site which has contact in formation for new up coming talent which one day i would like to act uppon, i'm am onsure about other games companise which i like. being based in amsterdame also apeals to me...
